Home / Private Rooms

The house closes, and becomes yours

The palazzo goes privately to one party, or room by room for something smaller. A menu written for the evening, the pours, the flowers, the sound and the piano: the rest is our problem.

Four rooms, one house

We work with anniversaries, working dinners, presentations and family lunches. For companies there is a subscription arrangement for recurring evenings, with the menu agreed at the start of each season.

Nothing about the evening is fixed before we have spoken. What the rooms will hold, though, is fixed by the building.

  • The whole palazzo — up to thirty-eight covers.
  • The great room — up to twenty-four seated.
  • The library — ten covers at a single table.
  • The winter garden — sixteen covers, April to October.
  • Three weeks notice is comfortable for taking the house.
What the rooms are used for

Three kinds of evening

Something to mark

Anniversaries, birthdays and the dinners that follow a long day. The library takes ten; the great room takes a family.

Work that needs a room

Presentations, client dinners and the evenings a company repeats. Sound and screen are in place; the piano can stay shut.

A house full of guests

Thirty-eight is the whole building. Beyond that number we would be doing it badly, so we do not take the booking.
